A one-hour confidence boost to help kids start the school year calm, capable, and socially ready.
This interactive Sociable pop-up focuses on the everyday social skills kids actually use at school. From walking into a classroom to joining a group at recess, kids will practice how to show confidence, kindness, and awareness in real-life situations.
We’ll cover:
• Confident greetings and introductions
• Joining conversations and group play without awkwardness
• Classroom and peer awareness (listening, turn-taking, respect)
• Polite communication with teachers and peers
• What to do when you feel nervous, unsure, or left out
Students will also have the opportunity to write a short note to their teacher to bring on the first day of school. This activity helps children practice polite written communication and gives them a confident, thoughtful way to introduce themselves.
This session is upbeat, practical, and encouraging. Skills are taught through discussion, role-play, and guided practice so kids leave knowing what to do, not just what they should do.
This pop-up is a one-hour standalone class and does not replace Sociable Phase 1: Foundations.
